It is my desire that Crowwe should continue to be open, free, liberal and trusted platform by all. The original goal behind Crowwe is to build an open, free and stable African social media platform where we Africans can fully participate in global technology revolutions.
For a long time, Africa has been relegated to a consumer continent, where everything has to be produced for us. If we can consume commodities, that’s not much of an issue but having our politics, culture, traditions & values also consumed will mean our permanent imprisonments.
It is important that we rise to preserve our information and data value at home. It is noteworthy that what actually liberated Africa from the troubles of colonialism was our vibrant media. With rapid adoption of social media, it becomes critical that we should have our own.
Crowwe’s operational model will be transparent and free of any political interference. It has to operate as a free and vibrant platform where everyone belongs. Therefore, it is important I let @CrowweApp be managed by those without an iota of political leanings. Thank you.
