OPay Dive Into Phone Making Business with Six (6) OLLA Smartphones

OPay, an Africa-focused fintech firm owned by Opera has seemed to have dive into phone production with the introduction of six mid-ranges smartphones into the Nigerian market after several weeks of teasing its users of the coming of its Olla Series.

Olla Series is finally here and it comes in six models; Olla Note 3, Olla V9Pro, Olla M8 Plus, Olla M8, Olla MI LITE and Olla M6. The six devices are expected to come with a retail prices range from N56,500 for the Olla Note 3, OLLA V9 PRO(4G) for N32,000, OLLA M8 PLUS(4G) for N22,000, OLLA M8(4G) for N21,000, OLLA MI LITE(4G) for N20,500 and OLLA M6 for N16,000.

The six devices will be available in the Nigerian market from the 25th of February, 2020 both in the online store and offline stores nationwide.

Highlights Specifications of The New Olla Smartphones

OLLA Note 3

The Olla Note 3 sports a 6.5 HD+ Display with 2.0GHz octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage under its hood, and runs Android 9 Pie out of the box. Camera-wise, the phone is equipped with dual rear cameras of 16MP + 2MP and a 16MP front-facing camera. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and dual SIM 4G network connectivity support.

OLLA V9 Pro

The OLLA V9 Pro is equipped with a 6.5 HD+ Display and 2.0GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage under its hood and runs Android 9 Pie out of the box. Camera-wise, it comes with dual rear cameras of 13MP + 0.2MP and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device is powered by a 3,900mAh battery and dual SIM 4G network connectivity support.

OLLA M8 Plus

5.99+ Display, 1.3GHz Quad-core, dual rear cameras of 8MP + 0.3MP and 5MP front-facing camera. 2GB + 16GB onboard storage and will run Android 9 Pie out of the box. It is housed by a battery capacity of 2800mAh.

OLLA M8

On the other hands, comes with 5.77 HD+ Dot drop display, 13MP + 2MP rear cameras and 5MP front-facing cameras, 2GB + 16GB onboard storage housed by a 3000mAh battery capacity

OLLa M1 Lite

5.7 HD+ Dot drop display, 8MP rear camera + 8MP front-facing camera, 2GB + 16GB onboard storage, Android 9 Pie, housed by a 3000mAh battery capacity.

OLLA M6

The Olla M6 runs on Android 8 Go edition with 1.2GHz Quad-core processor, 5.45 Display, 5MP back camera and 5MP front camera, 1GB + 8GB onboard storage housed by a 2500mAh battery capacity.
