Telco giant company, MTN Nigeria has just reviewed its data plans to compete with SME data seller. They announced this development via their official social media handle just of recently.
According to MTN, they are offering new and revamped data prices where you get more data for the same price. Meaning that you can now buy a 1.5GB data bundle for N1000 valid for 30days unlike before that they offer 1GB for N1000 plus 500MB which can be used only between the hour of 1 AM – 7 AM. N1,200 can now get you 2GB on MTN.
However, MTN SME data sellers have for long offering cheap and mouth-watering data plan which goes for N500 for 1GB with a validity period of 90days. Not only that they also offer N1000 for 2GB, N1500 for 3GB, N2000 for 4GB and N25000 for 5GB and data valid for 90days unlike MTN official data with 30 days validity.
Well, MTN introducing new and revamped data prices is a good development as it will increase competition in the data business and same time, makes data cheaper for the consumer like you.
