Google is set to launch its latest Google Pixel series smartphone today at the Google I/O event which begins today Tuesday, May 7, 2019. The company is expected to showcase its latest midrange Pixel smartphones “Google Pixel 3a and Google Pixel 3a XL” along with other devices at the event.
Ahead of the event, the leaked specifications of the Google Pixel 3a was revealed on Twitter by a leakster Roland Quandt popularly known as @rquandt on Twitter.
In Roland’s post, it was revealed that the device will come in a 5.6-inches display with Full HD+ (1080p) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 670 CPU chipset paired with 4GB RAM.
For the camera part, it will have a main camera of 12.2 MP sensor with dual pixel autofocus and 1.4 micron-sized pixels with the lens of “f/1.8 aperture”, while it will have a selfie camera of 8MP with f/2.0 aperture.
In the leak, there’s a 3,000 mAh battery coming with the device, while it will have the connectivity options of a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5GHz Wi-Fi ac support, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.
The Pixel 3a is rumored to have a starting price of $399 (equivalent to NGN144,000).
