
Access Bank has launched its WhatsApp Banking feature which is now live and active. This is a very good development for Access Bank as its Customers will now be able to perform some basic banking services such as the opening of an account, checking account balances on the go, request Payday Loan, BVN Display and many more.
WhatsApp is an instant messaging app that is widely used by billions of users all around the world. Some banks in Nigeria such as GTBank, FirstBank, and UBA have announced the inclusion of WhatsApp Banking for better customer services and it is said to be active from 1st of September 2018.
How To Use Access WhatsApp Banking
To use the service, you must be banking with Access Bank then add this mobile number to your phone’s contact (+234 9090 901 901) and save it with “Access WhatsApp Banking”
Send “Hi” to activate the services via WhatsApp
Make sure you use the registered number with your Access account in sending the message on WhatsApp.
We’ve been getting some major updates and integration on the WhatsApp platform which include WhatsApp Pay and many others although the Pay service is yet to made available in Nigeria. But with this WhatsApp Banking in Nigeria, it is likely we get the feature.
