Tecno Mobile just launched its first smartphone for the year 2018 known as Camon CM. The phone is the first of its kind as it becomes the first Tecno device to pack a mind-blowing 18:9 Full View Display.
Earlier today, I had the opportunity to experience the newly Tecno Camon CM and I can’t deny the fact that Tecno Mobile did a great job in the production of the device. So, here is a quick hands-on review of the Tecno Camon CM.
Tecno Camon CM Quick Hands-On Review
The Tecno Camon CM sports a 5.7 HD+ display with 18:9 Full View and is protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 at the top. The display is very smooth and clear. Apart from that, the device is very light in the hand compared to another phone I ever held.

As the Camon family is concerning, they are known for Camera focus and the newly Camon CM is not left out. The device comes with a 13MP Rear Camera with Quad Flash and 13MP Front Camera with Flash. I took some pictures with both cameras and below is what I get.

The phone is equipped with a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM and runs Android Nougat 7.0 with HiOS out of the box. Though I was expecting to see an upgrade of the last year Camon CX in this aspect what we got is the reverse. The Camon CX on the other hand is powered with Mediatek Helio P10 1.5 GHz Octa-Core processor but instead of an upgrade, Tecno Mobile decided to feed us with a downgraded and am not happy about that tho.
Speaking of the design, the Tecno Camon CM is built with a Plastic body and it measures at 152.2mm*71.7mm*5.6mm thick. The fingerprint scanner is mounted at the back and below it is TECNO logo written on it. At the top is 3.5mm headphone jack + visible antenna bands while the micro USB 2.0 and the speaker are clearly spotted at the bottom. Apart from that, I found the volume rocker and the power button on the right side of the phone and the Dual micro SIM and MicroSD slot tray on the other side.

The phone is Pre-loaded with a lot of applications like BoomPlay Music, Xender, Gmail, Youtube and many others. The phone is light up with 3,000 mAh battery capacity which I am so disappointed in the battery capacity because I was expecting something much bigger than what the Camon CX packed but is like we have to wait for the next Camon before we can see that.
Final Words
Though I was unable to test a lot of things in my hands-on earlier today once I lay my hands on the review copy by next week then, I will go more in-depth with the review.
