Unboxing Photos And First Impressions Of The New Nokia 3310 (2017)

The iconic, Nokia 3310 (2017) hit the Nigerian market some days ago with a price range of N17,500 – N22,000. The phone was reborn early this year in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The Nokia 3310 2017 was also launched alongside Nokia 3, 5, and 6. Among the four devices, Nokia 3310 (2017) seems to be the only phone currently available in Nigeria.

The reborn Nokia 3310 is a feature phone and boot Nokia Series 30+ OS. HMD has also styled the UI with some throwbacks to the original. The phone support 2G GSM 900/1800 MHz network and also preinstalled with Opera browser for browsing the net, Snake game, and impressive 1200mAh battery that can offer up to 25 days of standby, 21 hours of talking and 39 hours of FM radio fun and colorful display.

It also comes in four colors: Warm Red (Glossy), Dark Blue (Matte), Yellow (Glossy), Grey (Matte), equipped with 1.4MB of internal storage, along with microSD slot compatible with microSD cards up to 32GB of memory.

Below is a quick unboxing about all that contains in the pack of the new Nokia 3310 (2017) and my first impression about the phone.

Design And Package
The Nokia 3310 (2017) is a dual SIM 2.5G GSM handset powered by S30+ operating system and a 1,200mAh battery. The phone is housed in a colorful square box with the name of the phone written at the front of the box and in the back is the highlight specs of the phone plus the four colours that the phone comes with.

To unbox it, you will have to cut the zeal that protect the phone and its accessories from being tampered. After then, you will see the iconic Nokia 3310 (2017) smiling at you and inside the box, you will find the accessories of the phone.

Inside the Nokia 3310 (2017) box you will find;

I noticed that the design of the new Nokia 3310 (2017) is totally different from the old Nokia 3310. The front view of the phone is just wow!. I really love the fact that Nokia still want to maintain some design of the old Nokia 3310 in the new phone, especially the keypad. The keypad of the new Nokia 3310 is wide enough that you can easily type whatever message you want. The screen of the phone is another interesting that got my attention. The old Nokia 3310 come with black and white display but this new device comes with a colour display.

Unlike the old device, you will see a USB port  for charging which is position at the top of the phone. Underneath, you will also see the 3.5mm audio jack that allow you to plug your earpiece or headphone and enjoy the FM Radio present in the phone. You can also play music from your memory card too.

 

Moving to the back, you will also see the 2MP camera with the LED flash. The speaker is also position at the back of the phone.

 

Opening the back cover of the phone, you will see the dual sim (micro) slot, Sim 1 is position at the right while Sim 2 is position at the left. At the top of the Sim 2, you will also find the memory card slot. According to the company, you can use up to 32GB memory cards.
