Itel Mobile, a leading global provider of mobile devices has donated customized school bags and other learning materials to Motherland (mosunmola Kiddies) Schools, in Safejo Area of Ile Ife, Osun state.
The event tagged “Love Always on” was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) to its host communities.
The Marketing communications manager of itel Mobile, Oke Umurhohwo, said the idea behind the event was to improve learning among the pupils. “The Education sector is quite poor when you leave the highbrow areas. Hence we are doing this event monthly to improve the education among the pupils as they will lead us in the future” he said.
Speaking further, he said Motherland (mosunmola Kiddies) school was nominated by itel fans on social media. “The schools we have been visiting were chosen by our fans. If you have a school you think is deserving of our support, go to itel’s social media pages across all platforms and make your nomination”
The proprietress of the school, Mrs Bisi Mosunmola said it was a wonderful experience having itel mobile around. “We are elated and grateful to itel and promise that these materials will be well utilized”
