Today, a new rumor from China indicates that Xiaomi is planning to unveil the successor to last year’s Mi Max in a few months. The rumor post leak some of the specs of the upcoming Mi Max 2 and also suggest that the device will be released in May.
The rumor suggest that the upcoming Mi Max 2 will have same 6.44-inch display with the last year Mi Max, but will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC instead. It also suggest that the phone will pack whopping 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal memory, and will pack in a 5,000mAh battery with fast charge support.
Xiaomi is yet to announce any official details about MI Max 2 including the possible official launch date. As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt.
