Lenovo just announced a new ‘Tab 4’ tablet series in this ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, the new series tablet devices consist of Lenovo Tab 4 8, Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, Lenovo Tab 4 10 and Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus. The new tablets come in two different display sizes (8-inch and 10-inch) and are further categorized as standard and Plus variants.
The Lenovo 8-inch/10-inch Tab 4 tablets are powered by Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 chipset and it sport a 1,200×800-pixel resolution display. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB internal storage. Camera wise, it comes with a 2MP front unit and a 5MP rear unit.
The Tab Plus variants are powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC, and it sports a 1,920×1,200-pixel resolution IPS display. The tablets device is available in two variant memory configurations include 3GB/16GB and 4GB/64GB. Camera wise, it comes with a 5MP front unit and a 8MP rear unit. It also feature the USB 2.0 Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Both standard and Plus versions run Android Nougat, supports stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and come in WiFi+LTE and WiFi-only models.
As for price, the regular 8-inch and 10-inch Tab 4 tablets cost $109 and $149, respectively, while the corresponding Plus variants carry a price tag of $199 and $249, respectively. They’ll be launched in May this year.
